Drinks and snacks are allowed in the library with the following conditions:
Consume drinks and snacks in designated areas, which include the first floor and study carrels on the lower level.
No food on the second floor to accommodate patrons with allergies, respect religious observances, and maintain a quiet study space.
All drinks must be securely capped or lidded to prevent spills and maintain cleanliness. No alcoholic drinks are permitted.
Avoid noisy or messy drinks and snacks that may disrupt the quiet study environment.
Dispose of trash appropriately in designated bins.
Library staff may request that patrons put away any disruptive food or drinks.
The HDS Commons is an alternative space for eating and drinking.
