I'd like to read a movie script. Are there any databases that have film scripts?

American Film Scripts Online contains 1,009 scripts by 1,062 writers together with detailed, fielded information on the scenes, characters and people related to the scripts. In addition, the database includes facsimilie images for more than 500 of these screenplays. Most of the scripts have never been published before, and nowhere else are they available online.

The primary focus of the database is the written work, rather than the film itself.  It allows users to see and understand the structure of films, character development, beginnings and endings, plot points, and scenes.

Each script has been painstakingly licensed from the appropriate rights holders, so providing an authoritative source for these materials.

A valid Harvard ID and PIN are needed to access this database outside of a library.
