Reference books (as opposed to Reserve Books) are self-service. The reference books are located on the second floor. You may help yourself. Generally, people only need to read a small portion of a reference encyclopedia or dictionary. A photocopier and a scanner are conveniently located on the second floor near the reference books. Reference books must remain in the library. You may not take reference books outside of the library.
